best amp for alpine type r

what is the best amp for that sub? and would it be that much better to just go with two of them? if so what would be the right amp for two? i want to get the 12" 2-ohm type-r's......i know this is in a thread but i dont feel like reading through 2,500 posts.... thanks

2 dual 2s or 2 dual 4s down to 2? no more than 100watts rms per sub. if its dual 2 ohms per sub then you need a 2000 watts 2 ohm stable amp.
