Type X for SPL or Type R

Hi all

I wanna go into street A db drag, Which is better Alpine R or X? I got 3kw to play with... Or should I get a pioneer for SPL and if it gets burned just throw it away...

by the way, i've seen guys with a single type r hitting 150db in street a on TL of course

There are alot of factors, R's can work well if you need to play a low note... otherwise there are better farters out there.

I've done a 151.9 with one 12, and a 154.4 with one 15... all numbers below 50hz, the 15 and the 10 below 45hz.

they used 2x ext2000 amps linked to one 1222d, not sure which freq but it was legal on db comp and it was street A.

So SPL or type R still stands.... ???????
