knowing Kenwood recently, it will be over ratted, all show and no go, break on you, fall apart and then they wont take it back

well i read the review for it it is supposedbly pretty good... It has the record for the most excursion of any sub they say...it's like 1000rms and 2000peak...It has a built in fuse so you dont blow it...And it is a 13 incher..

I was surprised by the reviews I read on it...it actually doesnt sound too bad.

It's about time kenwood at least attempts to make a good sub...their tornados and what not have never been impressive.

Screw you guys, we got a eXcelon dB+ sub and it rattles quite a few things and goes as low as the ocean floor!

it's supposed to be a good sub, but u'll never catch me spendin that kinda money on 1 sub, unless i get a job any time soon, which i dont see happenin.

Seems like they'll make it-freak of nature huge. But the bigger this one gets, the harder it will be to impress anyone. Coming from kenwood.

I'm not defending kenwood by any means but......Many moons ago I got a pair of the blue tornado 10's for like $50 and I must say I was impressed. There not "super woofers" by any means but I would actually recommend(sp?) them to someone on a budget

I've seen a lot of subs that are compared to the W7 in product literature. So far none of them come close to matching the W7. The only subs that get close to the W7 are ones that don't pretend to compete with it, ironicly enough.

It takes serious balls to price a non-competition sub over $500. For as many people as complain about the W7 pricing, enough people are buying it that JL isn't going to bother lowering prices for awhile. I'm not sure many other subs could get that kind of acceptance while being priced that high.

well the JL is worth the money even there 10in w7 is loud as **** and the it handles power of over 1000 watts! i got 2 w7 12's and 2 JL 1000/1 amps wit 2 coustic caps 1.0 and i hit 157.2 i had it in a 1992 crx at the kentucky carl casper car show there is some serious competion there!
