box will be covered in black leather to match my new clazzio black and white leather seats... but in the rear hatch window on top of box i will have a RE audio logo embossed in white leather.. pretty much only thing my carpet laying skills will be useful for on this build //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

box will be 3.2cu ft tuned to 33hz. should be good looking box once everything is said and done for. going a little above and beyond on this going to use dowel rods and pin my pieces together that way along with drywall screws for strength..basically just cleatin it together.

also going to be making a custom amp rack so that should be nice too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

ok cool, finished the first baffle piece then the rain started to come down somethin awful and sideways and my porch only has screens for summer now lol so i stopped for the night.. finish up the caulking, and second flush mount baffle in A.M., also start an amp rack after i see the box in trunk and see what will look good with it... i hate the rain by the way been raining for a **** week here...

yeah u wont see em when its done tho.. gonna puddy it.. dad was tellin me to bondo it but not sure how that will work.. he was sayin bondo whole outside lol and sand it smooth.. but its gettin leather i think puddy will be fine if its smooth

in some instances it can actually weaken a bond between wood to have too many screws. but, if it stays, it stays. i usually keep about 6-8 inches between screws. i even know some guys who simply wood glue and clamp, and use only brad nails or a few screws (very experienced box builders). wood glue can do some fantastic bonding for what it was designed. not hating, not a bad build, just giving some input for reference.
