Joseph's SQ Build Log

I kinda over did myself early this week, so i took a little time to relax so i could finish up the amp rack. I still haven't finished covering the sub enclosure so I just left the old one in for now. On to some pics!!

It's the Cadence S2W12-d2, and I haven't gotten to the front stage yet. The enclosure and amp rack was going to be the hardest and I have a couple days extra so I decided to do the hard stuff first. The S2 12 hits really good, and the enclosure's only cost about $60 to build, so if i don't think it will fit, I can pick a different Cadence sub (cause this is a Cadence SQ build) and try a different enclosure. I think the S2 in it's new enclosure will fit in just right though.
I am having a hard time finding the look a like carbon fiber material, so if anyone knows of a company or a sku from hobby lobby or Jo ann fabrics, don't hesitate to hook me up!!

Thanks Ryeon!! That's exacactly what I needed. "I have temporarily" covered it with that black denim clothe for Showfest (because it's getting really close) but this is what I will be using permanently afterwards, and I think I might get a professional upholsterer to do it, lol. I try so hard, but not even the Mexican in me can get my upholstering to look good, ha ha.

looks great!
Thank You Sir!! I have actually been trying to read up on that information you have given me, and I will say it is helping clear up some of the misconceptions I have had about the movement's of sound waves. I guess when you don't have the right information, you come up with theories that work in the mind, but not so well on paper. Well, now I don't have to be in the dark anymore!! Thanks! Oh, and I think in July I will be trying to order the RTA Analyzer stuff, and I might hit you up with a question or two. Nothing too big, I don't want to be a burden, Thanks again!

Great Build my dude!
Thank You!! I hope you stay tuned in, and if you have any questions or anything, don't hesitate to ask, my work is always transparent, so I am willing ot help with anything you have!

Okay guys, it's stripping time! I jave stripped this truck many times before, so I don't think I will have any problems. These first pics are of things coming out.

I am not keeping most of the wires, so I didn't care what they looked like while I pulled them out

This is my personal favorite!

I am going to try them at different locations while I have them playing in order to aim them correctly and try out the new locations. I know since it's a Dodge, it's gonna have some aiming-phase problems, so maybe test aiming will help narrow down my final mounting locations!

More Later on!
