That one should work fine. The model that I posted is a little more heavy duty and would probably be my choice. But the eBay one is 1/4 the price.

Well I'm thinking about having a battery bank for car audio only and leaving the battery upfront separate.

Well the way the isolator was explained to me was that the alt charges both sets of batteries but they are not directly connected. The alt I believe still charges the batts.

I was just asking cause it never made sense to me. Why try to jam at 12v and not give your amps full power? I can run my Deka 9a78dt for 8 hours with the subs turned off and it will fire the car up like nothing. If I wanted to jam at the show and show off I would want full power anyways.

Keeps my lights from dimming without upgrading and limits the amount of 1/0 I have to run to the back because only power from the alt. will be going to the back.
