both garbage. especially the power acoustik, never ever look at that brand again.

This sub will uttery destroy both of them. in every way possible.

sadly any good sub wont even ship to hawaii. including on the one you sent. i noticed they wont really ship any sub more than 25pounds. but if they do its like 300 for shipping lol so im trying to work what i can get locally..

Did you check with the local DD dealer? They have a redline series that's cheap

DD redline. I dont see any american bass dealers over there. DD and sundown are a bit better though. However if they carry those brands, they might carry similar brands like American bass or DC audio or skar or incriminator audio that we dont know.

There's a few different models. Even the lowest one will be better than the 2 you linked

1500 Series

the dd 1512a 2ohms

never really got to play it loud since i dont wanna fry it..or at least wanna break it in

anyone know how long i need to break it in?

and also should i wire it down to 1 ohm on the cab1600 or leave it at 2 ohms?

and should i pick up this box

since right now the box im using is a pre fab that pretty much just fits the sub and has a small port one of those universal box that you can pick up from bestuy.. would i hear a big difference with that box loud/sq? or should i get another box?
