I bought this system for $330+$60 shipping on ebay last friday and I paid for it the same day w/paypal. My bank account shows that the funds left my bank that day. And this guy has been telling me that he is waiting for my payment to post, now how is that when the $$$ left on friday.

Well today he sent me an email saying that he shipped my items today but he underestimated the shipping cost. And I would have to pay him $174 more (58 of that being insurance). Now I knew that shipping would be hefty for this item being that it comes w/box and 2 12' subs but $234 is outrageous What should I do?

since when does insurance cost $58?!?! and if you paid with paypal, the payment posts within a few a minutes, so thats already suspicious. he probably got your money and started to transfer it to his bank account and stalling while it was doing its thing. that way if you file a claim with paypal, you wont get your money back if you dont recieve the item, because his account will be empty.

you are being scammed in my book.

hate to say it but it looks like somethings up. Contact your C.C company/paypal and file a claim immediately before the funds get out of his account. If he does decide to run and take your moeny, paypal will not get it back for you.

ANYTIME you feel uncertain about an internet transaction, IMMEDIATELY file a claim to get it back and just buy it elsewhere.

If he under estimated shipping on his item that is his problem.Charge back through paypal, he sounds shady.

He can't ask for more money when you already won the auction. If he underestimated the shipping costs, that's his problem.

if you used a credit card thats linked to your paypal i would file a paypal dispute and a charge back with your credit card company.

usually paypal wont get you shit, but your credit card company will.
