Got my amp...and its got a 16 volt mod...is it ok

I got my crossfire vr4000d and it all looks clean and nothing burnt...it looks like it has a 16v mod, it has a sticker on it saying so on the board. Is this still ok for a daily setup and I will be running 2 HDC3 off it...does the 16 volt mod

All that will mean is that it can handle upwards to 16 volts, it will run ok off of 12 but to reach the ratings it has you need 16v. (correct?)

Sort of.

It will be fine.

Just allows the amp to run on a 16 volt setup.

It will still do normal power on a 12v setup.

Shouldnt affect it at all unless something goes wrong with your cars electrical and it gets fed like 20 volts or something. It should be fine on 12volts, just as stated above. You'll get more power then raed on a 16 volt setup.
