I am going to get two Kicker CVR 12's and a Audioque AQ2200D. I am on a budget and I can't spend like $1000. Also what is the difference between 2 ohm and 4 ohm?

ummmm....that Aq amp will torch those kickers with ease. why get such a nice amp and such mediocre subs. what's the budget that you have to spend on subs? and space you have to work with.

yeah would probably blow those subs up with that amp. just get to sd2.5's or hdc3's. All AQ system FTW.

if you want to you can go with the 2200, get dual 2 CVRs and run them at 2 ohms and then be able to use that amp if you ever want to upgrade subs. or how about you let us know your budget for subs and amp and we can recommend you some stuff.

i think he meant the sdc2.5s. i havent heard them but i only hear from people that they are GREAT for the money.

Yes they are. I was damm impressed with them and they're super sufficient.

Well, I was at Frys and I tried the CVR's with a HiFonics Brutus 1606, and they sounded pretty good. Remember, I am just getting started, so I can't spend money on top of the line stuff..
