So I did see that 800w @1ohm stable for this Blapkunt amp. So if the 12in kicker is 300W RMS does that mean both in parallel is about 600W RMS ? I've tuned the gain by ear... Making sure it's not all the way to the right. Backed off way from full CCW ... So far it sounds really good at low level volumes. Anything higher we'll become hard of hearing

Yes. Whichever way you wire them, they will take 600w RMS.

I've tuned the gain by ear... Making sure it's not all the way to the right. Backed off way from full CCW ...

I do that for all my own gear. Just make sure whomever uses that vehicle to not go above the volume you used when setting the gain.
