you aren't comprehending the article. i gave you a link for not only the threshold but that variance. the human ear is based on the log scale and it is very sensitive. 1bd is the variance we can hear. i put up another test. i can hear it every-time..

no matter what i do you will never agree. its beyond me. take the test yourself. 10 out of 10 no ******* way i guessed it its apparent i CAN HEAR IT.

i'll do it. if the source material and test is legit. i don't want to do it in his car for sure. the tone is @ 440hz if it was 1-5k it would be even more distinguishable.

if you cant get at least a 9/10 on that test you have hearing damage. i can hear a 1db difference.

see thing is i understand excatly what you mean. i'm very good with assimilation. you seem to only assimilate to fit your narrative.

yes it is very hard to hear the differences. when you actually EQ a source its very hard to distinguish because of the Q(damping) and phase shifts. thats not the point or narrative.

the shifts chance pitch and tonality and has a phase shift to boot so using EQ is not a good thing but cutting is by far a superior technique.
