Boy you a **** fool if you can't hear 2db difference. 1db is the threshold. Kmsl someone trolling the ship out of you.Maybe for your self proclaimed golden ears. But to the rest of society 3db is the threshold we notice something is different. And that's scientificly proven.
And if it's just 3db on a few frequency you won't notice at all. 3db full range is noticeable.
So every scientific study agrees with me.Boy you a **** fool if you can't hear 2db difference. 1db is the threshold. Kmsl someone trolling the ship out of you.
I just woke up. LolWhere's those left right measurements at your headrest on REW with no smoothing? I'm curious to what you think a good response is
Show me one places that says the threshold is 3bd between sorces.. I put up a blind test. Again I hear 1db differenceSo every scientific study agrees with me. But you, the holy papermaker says otherwise. Brah
I do it myself every time I tune a car.Show me one places that says the threshold is 3bd between sorces.. I put up a blind test. Again I hear 1db difference
dude at least take a look at the precessing in the unit i have before you automatically assume i do or don't have. they thread isn't about me its about hearing the difference between the file types. some hear a difference some don't not to mention its good training for critical listening.I do it myself every time I tune a car. As well as everyone else that tunes. When you get a source that has 1db adjustments you will also.
exactlyNo, not double loudness. I think because the general nature of the "it takes 2x power or 2x cone area to gain 3db" notion that it might be also perceived as "twice as loud"
I just went from 1 12 to 2 12s, and amazingly almost gained 3db, cuz it never happens in real world. And its very noticably louder. But 148 to 151 isnt an earth shattering difference
A phone app? Seriously.
its not scaled on the topend. where the bass? you sure you reading this right? nasty topend? don't worry i will get each driver once i have a chance.the topend is outstanding nothing nasty about it the scale is so small ill stretch it out so you can see.A phone app? Seriously. And where is left and right?
And **** that's some nasty high end. And where is the bass
Get REW, run it up to 90-95db. Get left and right full range.
Do I need to show you how to measure? Real question
Well you may like it but I'll tell you it won't score good on the top end. The rise should be a gentle roll off. Just looking at the measurement I'd say it's bright. As yes, where is the bass. Also next time use RTA not FFT.its not scaled on the topend. where the bass? you sure you reading this right? nasty topend? don't worry i will get each driver once i have a chance.the topend is outstanding nothing nasty about it the scale is so small ill stretch it out so you can see.
its not brite i assure you coming from someone who HATES bright systems. its actually not bright the "bright" sound comes from the 2-5k region 15-20 is your air. they sound open and defined. notice how i have the 2-5k cut? thats why its not bright but its AIRY. ill be shocked if it does score good it really does sound excellent. id love to see your FR for reference but no way in hell your going to do that.. FYI my box is tuned to 38 right now because i'm testing so yea 20 hz is pretty low still more than audible but my subsonic is high because im seeling well over 2k clamped @ 30hz with not SSF..Well you may like it but I'll tell you it won't score good on the top end.
