is my sub gonna blow?

i have a 12'' re se in a 1.5 cuft enclosure @ 35 hz, .2 cuft port area, 1.3 cuft sub area. the recommended compact area is 1.6 cuft @ 35hz. in the long run will my box damage the sub?

Box won't damage anything unless it's rubbing the sub, the sub could damage itself if you push it at the rated wattage.

will do, thanks. have it at 700 watts (100 above rms) at max volume right now. also should i avoid hitting certain low tones? if so i will set the ssf higher
holy shit, stop that immediately

read up on how to set your equipment properly man

turn your gain down as well

Smaller box is less likely to damage your sub (it provides more "cushioning" for the suspension). In theory, you can run more power to your sub if you have a smaller box, as long as you aren't exceeding it's thermal limits. And 700 is fine for an SE.

If you haven't already set your gains by dmm, I can do it for you in sd.
