Im new to car audio. I've bought a Power Acoustik Gothic 800 watt 4-Channel for mids. Im either considering the Boss Chaos 850 watt Mono for Bass. My Question is are these amps good for beginners? since i am a beginner i dont wanna spend too much. However im also wondering if Cadence amps are sufficient for beginners?

Info will be appreciated!

PA stuff is so so. I run a PA A2400DB and others run the 3000DB and they do alright. For the price it's not bad at all, I don't require a lot of power honestly. I'm very happy with my SQ setup right now.

BOSS SUX..... PA is pretty good for a budget, i know a couple people who got some n they push their systems nicely, n sound good doin it too. i had a boss ch700 n man that thing sucked... it was WAY overrated and kept over heating, blowing fuses.... doing all of this while only push 2 12 p1's....P1's MAN, a supposedly 1200watt amp trying to push 300w subs, thats how wack their SH!T is

The problem I have with PA is they are a little overrated and seem to be more susceptible to engine noise than some other brands. They will get the job done, though. I'd rank them with Sony.

No experience with Boss.

Oh, and I wouldn't use something like the Gothic to push a sub either. Something is missing......possible power, I don't know????
