Wow...I'd love to see that happen. This guy is beyond ignorant. I can't believe that he didn't just listen to the advice that people were trying to help him with.

there has to be SOME thought process behind the build.
im sure a lot of spl competitors (even the new ones), at least understand the basic needs of the subwoofer they have chosen to use.

I thought the skull was pretty neat, though I would've counter sunk the screws and filled the holes in with some woodfiller.

I agree. I wouldve countersunk and bondoed over the screws that show and try to make the filler panels looks more like one large piece and round the edges of them. I would have also cut the 2x4 on the outside of the box where the ports is so that you could screw the port onto the sides of the box and make it sturdier.

ok but im sure you know not to put a 15" sub in a .5^3ft enclosure with 6^2 inches of port area with 3000w behind it. im saying you should at least have a reason for starting somewhere.

if you are just doing random shit, IMO, i think you are wasting your time and money. at least have a reason for trying something.

if the kid tried to do this because he thought it would work awesome, thats fine. but its obvious he just pieced things together and hoped it would work. IIRC he said it only played upto about 36hz or so. look at the time spend and money spent on this project and what it amounts too.
