New setup: RE SE12,Power Acoustik 1200MT

Hey,im looking to get a new setup which would consist of an RE SE12 in a ported box (link below) powered by a Power Acoustik Sterling 1200MT bridged out.What do you guys think about this setup? Trav

Btw it will be installed in a Grand Cherokee

Well i dont quite have the skills to build a nice ported box.I could do a sealed one though probably.Whats bad about prefab?

I love the sub but not the amp... you should get the Us Amps XT-2000D

The US is rated at 150 rms at 4ohm and the Acoustik is 250rms x2 at 4ohm and if i bridged it out dont you think it would be enough? I already have the Acoustik and would rather not have to buy a new amp.Also i have yet to find another person with the 1200MT and can't find any reviews on it.I have been running it bridged for 3 years going to two Kappa Perfects which pounded.

i have a 12" SE, running it sealed, love it and have heard it ported too... its awesome. i wouldnt skimp on a box. its too nice of a sub and too $.

this guy has built tons of boxes for the online car audio scene

he'll hook you up and it will be well worth it

i have a amp like this, but its the txa1000d, nice bang for the buck amp if you have the dual 4 ohm SE

Thanks for the info.Right now i think i will just run the Power Acoustik and the prefab box and if i dont like them,then ill upgrade.Trav
