Hi, new to the forum.

Just picked up 2 of these diamond subs. Can anyone tell anything about them? I have no idea on the model number and what they are rated at. I believe 300rms each.

What are diamond subs like ?

Also is it possible to wire these 2 separate subs to one amp ?

Thanks

Diamond subs should be good quality...you can wire both subs to one amp but you'll have to know what ohm voice coils a d if they are dual or single voice coil so you can match the amp to them

Thanks for the reply.

Further research shows these might be the ones;

Could you advice on what amp would work with both wired into.

Thanks

If they are dual 2 ohm subs they'd need a 5-600 watt 2 ohm mono amplifier . And the subs would have to be wired series parallel to work ...

Thanks really appreciate your help!

I've got a Rockford Fosgate 500bd monoblock amp. Will that work with the above setup. Thanks .

Is this the way I need to wire up both subs?

Thanks

I would put a multimeter on the terminals and measure the ohm reading just to be sure. A single set of terminals indicates a single voice coil. So wiring two of them together would either give you half the resistance (parallel) or double it (series). i.e. if you have a 2 ohm VC then wiring these in parallel would give you 1 ohm, so you would need a 1 ohm stable amp to drive them without overheating the amp. Series wiring would give you a 4 ohm load.

uhhh, yep. The bezel doesn't look automotive, and neither does the surrounding wood grain.

You probably did it already, but post this to 350z specific forums or facebook groups, etc. There's probably someone there that knows.

Might be ok to run in the garage in 4 ohm stereo on about 20-50 watts. It may run for quite a while that way?
