i think my orion might be broken!!

So ive had my 2500d for about 5 months now and it worked perfectly up untill about a month ago. It started doin this thing where if i turned up my volume for longer than a few minutes the subs would turn off, but the amp power light remained on. Its gotten to the point now where if i turn it up at all the subs cut out and the amp may or may not turn off. I thought it might have been an electrical problem so yesterday i replaced my old battery with a redtop and got a new alternator. To my dissapointment the problem is just as bad as it ever was. I have it powering two L7s at one ohm and the gain about 3/4 the way up. Does anyone know what my problem might be? Im startin to think my amp might be bad but i want to be sure what the problem is before i have to buy a new amp.

Tough prob.. Conections good? Rcas might be out, try the amp in a diff car. I've bought a blown amp before becasue some kids RCA sender on his HU went out.

im not tryin to jack the thread, but if his amp is broken or is having problems, how much you think it would cost him to have it repaired?

I had that exact same problem with my Slash 500.1 Took it to a local shop and it was the amp that was the problem. I thought all along it was a ground or connection problem. Bought the amp off ebay for only 1 month or so too. Now i have to get a new circuit board for an extra 300$.

no problems with mine....

I had mine for about 6-7 months,no issues

make sure you are feeding it correctly,its not exactly the most effiecent

amp I have ever used..
