I plan on getting 2 Kicker cvx 12's

http://www.superstereo.biz/kicker-cvx-subwoofer.html

And i have this amp Diesel Audio ns7004

http://www.brandnamez.com/p-10058-diesel-audio-ns7004.aspx

I was wondering if i should get a new amp? or is the one i have alright for the subs?

I was looking at this amp. Kenwood KAC-9104D

http://www.crutchfield.com/p_113KAC9104/Kenwood-KAC-9104D.html?showAll=Y&tp=115

Any Opinions on it? Or recomed an amp for me. Im trying to stay in the 200-300 dollar range

Any Help Appreciated

Yea i really like that amp but its a little out of my price range.. cheapest price i can find is 399 refurbed
Any other nice amps out there for around 200-300?
you really dont need to skimp on power.the least i would do would be the zx1000.1 you can get it at techronics.com for around 350

one more thing,if you get the kenwood 9104d thats putting out probably 800rms watts, then you should get the cvr's instead.you would save alot of money right there.and that would be a perfect match allso.

are the subs dual 2 or dual 4 ohm if dual 4 ohm i would buy a sundown SAZ-1500D you can get a good used one for around 325 maybe less and check out dbr for a refurbed one...

Look around several stores sell that amp for 165ish and they go on ebay frequently very cheap. I bought one used with manual for 43 shipped and then sold it for more on a forum. Was not a bad amp would be perfect for some CVR's.

so do you think cvx's would be underpowered with the zx1000? It looks like i might just wait and get the zx1500. Are there any other reliable amps that can power the cvx's around the same price? (400)

Thanks for the help

the zx1000.1 is going to be rated around 1300 rms watts, the cvx's will be 1500rms watts.sounds like plenty to me.the 1500.1 is going to be rated around 1700-1800rms watts which is over wattage for the cvx's.thats when you'll start having to watch ur settings.it just depends on how hard you want to run the amp.the more power the less the amp has to work.
