Can you guys help me out with finding a comparable amp. I decided on the Hifonics brx5000.5 but its no longer offered it looks like. I'm going to be running a Polk audio 6 1/2 component set, a set of kicker 6x9 3 ways, and 2 10 inch maybe Sound audio E series subs.

I've got some Ground Zero Hydrogen 5 channels available.

Specs:

Output Power @ 4 Ohm (CEA*)4 x 100 & 1 x 430 W

Output Power @ 2 Ohm (CEA*)4 x 150 & 1 x 430 W

Output Power @ 1 Ohm (CEA*)Ch 5: 600

Bridge mode ch1-4 2x400W

I also am looking to a price comparable to the Hifonics //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I will check the links you guys provided and compare.

the memphis big bell amp listed is a 10x better then the hifonics. One of the best 5 channels made.

soundstream's a budget choice.

ground zero is awesome too if you have the money for it.

I'd like to have for the sub, at least 1000x1 @ 1 ohm. I say 1 ohm because it seems most amps in the price range i'm looking for can't produce that much power at more than 1 ohms. As for the other 4 channels 60-100 is fine.

5 channel?

price?

I need something around 60-100 or so for the 4 channels for my hi's and at least 1000x1 for the sub. I'm going to run 2 10's.

the brown seat isn't my car. I hope that that my seat is long enough to mount the memphis if i go with it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

it's 2 ft long

Read the links listed above man.
yeah i just saw it after I had already asked you about it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

from the soundstream amp to the memphis, Soundstream 750 @ 1 ohm for sub vs the 1100 for the Memphis, I guess i would notice a difference in how my system sound from one amp to the next?

comparing getting one or the other

That is the great thing about Maestro products, they are very thorough. Downside is the price tag.
