I have to run 6 300 amp fuses?

Can I do 1 300 amp fuse on each cable after the front battery and then 1 300 amp fuse on each cable before the rear batteries and just use the supplied audiopipe 200 amp fuses going to the amps? Will different size fuses hurt anything?

your wire will constantly have 100amps trapped in it..... bad idea. your car might catch on fire //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

This will work just fine. It doesn't hurt anything to have a distribution block with multiple fuses smaller than the main feed does it? Same thing.

I will be having 7 for sure, possibly 8 300amp fuses depending on how many inputs the amp has, and a 150amp for the mids amps

I'd use 150A fuses throughout. If 200s were supplied with the amp, you know it draws less than that. That combined with the fact 1/0 isn't even rated for 200A let alone 300A. I would normally not even recommend 150s, but I suspect your current draw will be far less.

Yes most 1/0 cable is capable up tol 300 amps audiopipes 200 amp fuse is overbuilt and underrated. plus I will have a 300 amp alt,4 deka 9a31 batts, 1 deka 9a34, mla module, big three in 1/0

Really? http://www.coastalelectric.com/Reference/NEC310-16.html Looks like 170 amps at 86 degrees ambient. We use 3/0 for 200A services. An overbuilt and underrated fuse? Sounds quite desirable. An underrated fuse is exactly what I want. I surely wouldn't want it to blow at it's rated value. That would be just plain silly. Smoke it if ya got it I suppose.

**** every car audio cable manufacture lies! Also the knukonceptz kolossus I bought says capable of loads OVER 300 amps.
Of course they lie. They lie about the amps output, so they can lie about the wire you need to feed it. Who's the fool?

haha yeah after reading your topics and posts I will stick to the 300 amp fuses
Great idea. Fuses are overrated anyways. They just get in the way of otherwise "awesome power". I went to KnuKoncept's website out of curiosity to see what they're selling. Very interesting. #8 power amp kit with a 50 amp fuse. That's what we normally rate #8 at (not at a car's internal temperature though). A couple of #4 wiring kits, one with an 80Amp fuse and another with a 120A fuse. Wow! #4 is good for for 120 amps? I think not. Then the (not so) funny part. 0 gauge (whatever that is) with a consumer choice of 60-300A fuse. You choose, so they're not liable. Then a 1/0 consumer choice of 60-250 amps. I don't know for sure if there ever was a 0 gauge, but I know there isn't now. It goes from #1 to 1/0. I'd suspect the #4 with a 120 amp fuse will disappear quickly if they don't like lawsuits. Burn your Honda down, one less eyesore for me. I'm quite sure you're capable. If I had 500 Amp fuses I'd send them your way free.

just because you're a f*cking idiot, doesn't mean you're right!!!

0ga cable will happily handle 300amps!

it IS what its rated for!

and the ambient temperature isn't going to effect a cables current handling capability, thats just ludicrous!!
