I have to run 6 300 amp fuses?

Is this correct. 2 runs of 1/0 from front battery then both get fuses then go to my back batteries and both get fused again right before connecting to the batteries then they come off the rear batteries and both get fused again?

That is a total of 6 300 amp fuses. Is that about right? Does that many fuses take away from voltage/current flow?

Actually thats just 1 run for each ap30001d amp.

You dont HAVE to fuse those batteries in the rear. Alot (most) people dont. Definetely fuse your main front battery

So 2 fuses off the front battery and 2 fuses before the rear batteries and none after the rear. My rear batteries are about 3-4 feet from my amps.

Yeah, if the run from the batt to the amp isnt very long, theres no need to fuse it if you're sure it won't short out.

So basiaclly If I am extra careful routing the power cable I would be good with just 1 fuse per cable close to the front battery.

Yea, fuse on both ends of your main runs (connecting your front and rear batts)...if the runs to your amp(s) are organized and short then fusing is optional as long as youre sure it wont short

connect the amps, to the run of cable from the front, to the back of the car...

so effectively, you have two 600amp fuses on that cable, while the run from the front, to the back, is still also fused..
