I have to run 6 300 amp fuses?

Also, you could get ring terminal fuse holders... and could stack the two runs of 1/0 on one fuse holder. A single 300amp fuse would be fine for the pair of runs, since most of the current will be pulled from your rear battery anyway...

just do this:!!!

no!!
do that X2!!

FOUR fuse holders!

its completely pointless doing two runs of 0ga, if you're only running a single 300amp fuse for two cables!
No it's not. Fuses will take much over their rated power for short amounts of time, and MOST of the amperage will be drawn from the REAR batteries. If you're really worried about it... fine get some larger fuses.... like a 500amp

most of the current won't be drawn from the rear batteries, and yes, you can draw more current for short periods, but you get more voltage drop, and more heat in the fuse contacts...

just do one run of 0ga.

the ap 30001's come with a anl fuseholder with a 200 amp fuse. use those 2 for ur amps and YES fuse between both ends of the wire close to the batterys.

if u get in accident or wire ground it will blow the front fuse but get power from the rear battery and the power wire will set ur car onfire with you in or out of it. be safe fuse both ends!

I agree with ngsm.

2 0ga with 2 300a fuses is the same as 2 0ga with 1 600a fuse.

If those amps are really rated at 3krms then your max load would be

well by the time I buy 2 of those and extra cable connecting everything I could have already fused it 6 times.
ah, there is no extra cable //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

and the T blocks cost $9.50 each...

the fuse and holders will cost like $20 each...

not sure about the maths there... lol
