Did anyone say it isn't?Bassboost is a ******* eq.. Lol.
Okay so I turned off bass boost completely on both amps, it corrected the distortiom but I still can't play the low frequency right
Sounds like u need to go to 12volt wiring wizard website and make sure u have your woofers wires correctly

I'm sorry I don't know what ******* is. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/*******.gif.a649d21efc0d1fd4890a6428166586c1.gifBassboost is a ******* eq.. Lol.
There wired right, + to + - to - wired down to 2 ohms on each sub. They wouldn't be making any noise otherwise. The coils would be 180° out of phase if I wired it wrong
Maybe you should look up what a EQ actually does. Then we can have a discussion as to why i never like to use it..Sounds like u need to go to 12volt wiring wizard website and make sure u have your woofers wires correctly

actually its more than likely boosting between 30 and 50. so its technically boosting it increasing output.. the problem like you said is its destroying the wave. its not actually limiting lowend or even affecting the drivers ability to play lower its simply distortion.Did anyone say it isn't?
The point they are trying to make is valid. 12db of ~40hz bass boost is obliterating the original signal.
Beyond 1/4 volume or so the amp's fully clipped from 30-50, at least.
CSA, set your boost to zero and do the ADD version: How to Set Your Gains
Check youtube. Prob plenty of vids how to check for clipping and use of DMM.True, I'm pretty sure it I sent wiring but I'll check anyhow. I haven't got a o scope is there any other way to check if my wave is clipped? I have a true RMS multimeter but I don't know if that will help.
