I have a problem with subs not hitting lows.

Okay so I turned off bass boost completely on both amps, it corrected the distortiom but I still can't play the low frequency right

Sounds like u need to go to 12volt wiring wizard website and make sure u have your woofers wires correctly

Bassboost is a ******* eq.. Lol.
I'm sorry I don't know what ******* is. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/*******.gif.a649d21efc0d1fd4890a6428166586c1.gif

There wired right, + to + - to - wired down to 2 ohms on each sub. They wouldn't be making any noise otherwise. The coils would be 180° out of phase if I wired it wrong

Lol they will still make noise wired out of phase and will sound funny and no lows what so ever.

I'll try rewiring but I'm sure there wired right. Each sub is wired down to 2 ohms and they share a box. Also each sub dual voice coil is wired in parallel ++ --

Maybe you should look up what a EQ actually does. Then we can have a discussion as to why i never like to use it..

The amps are only stable bridged to 4ohm so that doesn't help. If your hu has sub outputs with its own crossover switch the amps to flat and see if that helps

Did anyone say it isn't?
The point they are trying to make is valid. 12db of ~40hz bass boost is obliterating the original signal.

Beyond 1/4 volume or so the amp's fully clipped from 30-50, at least.

CSA, set your boost to zero and do the ADD version: How to Set Your Gains
actually its more than likely boosting between 30 and 50. so its technically boosting it increasing output.. the problem like you said is its destroying the wave. its not actually limiting lowend or even affecting the drivers ability to play lower its simply distortion.

True, I'm pretty sure it I sent wiring but I'll check anyhow. I haven't got a o scope is there any other way to check if my wave is clipped? I have a true RMS multimeter but I don't know if that will help.

Check youtube. Prob plenty of vids how to check for clipping and use of DMM.

Thanks I'm surprised how quick all of you are to respond. Okay so here's another question back when I had two kicker subwoofers that were 150 watts RMS a piece at 2 ohms a piece I wired them in series to make 4 ohms and bridged them on one of these hifonics amps that i have now They also made the same distortion like sound and didn't hit the low pitch. Note I had everything the same as I do now other then the subwoofers and that I didn't use bass boost then and the gain was set to around 40%

Okay so here is a video of what the subs would sound like in my car but not as loud, that sound by the hole only happens when low pitch hits http:///youtu.be/6LEbLLzPry0
