FEATURED Hyundai Cilantro.. I mean Elantra!

Ok, took a few hours, literally to run the 1/0awg from the battery, to the circuit breaker to the back of the car. My buddy ran the cable down the drivers side under the door sills and ran it next to the factory wire loom. VERY tight but all went back together and is perfectly hidden. Tomorrow I will run RCA's and remote as well as the rear ground to the body for the amps. I will have bass tomorrow. Here is under the hood with the new terminals, the power and a ground to the body. There is a very large ground strap from the body to the block. I will probably swap that for a 1/0awg cable.

Man.. Hopefully you will not be pulling over all the time to RESET that Breaker???? A friend of mine finally got tired of it and put an ANL in-line fuse like I told him to. Really Blows when you are listening to your tunes and the Breaker trips when its raining outside.. LOL

I have only ever tripped a 300a in the G6 a few times but that was a loose power cable. Once that was done I had no issues. This is there mostly so I can cut power manually to the system to work on it. I have the correct fuses in distribution blocks at the amplifiers. A 120a and an 80a I think. I will have to look again.

Decided to help part of the electrical system in the car. Out with the old Champion Double Platinum plugs and in with the new NGK Laser IX Iridium plugs. As you can see, plugs 2 and 4 had their center electrodes worn away and all 4 plugs had huge gaps. Now the car starts quicker and idles more smooth.

Yeah they do even when I bought one of those as a refurbished deal for 70 bucks it was here in 48 hours. I have that sitting here along with a V1 Helix DSP I got at DIYMA for 120 bucks shipped :D. Haven't decided which to put in this spring/summer.

I ran a circuit breaker for my winch until the first time I had to use it. Now my winch cable is like banging whores: unprotected and I accept the risk.

Vehicle Maintenance is always a plus and necessary to keep the vehicle operating at its best. I generally change my spark plugs every 40k miles, oil every 3-4k synthetic or not, balance and rotate tires every 3rd oil change. NKG Plugs usually last approx 40-50k miles.

Hard to see in the day time but I replaced my city parking lights and my high beam bulbs.

City lights are red. I didn't know they stayed lit with the headlights on. If it looks weird at night I will change them to 6000K white.

Its waterproof? Should be just fine. I have one under my hood for a Tommy Lift Gate in my 14 Chevy 2500 HD, Its been just fine throughout the Winter and rainy wet portions. No issues

Fully test it without the ACR-1. TBH it sounds like an amplifier issue. Try connecting your phone direct to the amp via a 3.5mm to RCA cable. If...
