Camcorder like JVC GZ-HM400, Sony HDR-SR10E and Canon VIXIA HFS10 etc which record video in AVCHD(MTS, M2TS,TS) format are widely welcomed. But some famous movie editor, such as the latest version of Final Cut Pro/Final Cut Express, iMovie etc. can support AVCHD formats but can only work with Intel-based system. Sony Vegas 9 etc is said to be very laggy when preview MTS video. well, if u dont have the newest version of fcp, u have to convert mts to some readable format. And im using Pavtube MTS Converter to help me when i happen to such problem. It can keep the output quality almost the same as the original file.
