Ifandorbuts, I'm not saying give it to me (but that would be nice). But you SHOULD give it out to more than one person ( the Spectrum product), because you should always get more than 1 person's opinion and/or review of the product.

what are the main differences between the two types of damping material? What did you have in mind for each? I am a ways off from needing any but this may make my decisions easier.

45 mil material

available in 50 foot rolls

43 mils rubberized asphalt

2 mils alumninum foil

self adhesive bitumen surface lined with easy release kraft paper

Second Skin Spectrum(SSP)

Multi layer material consisting of

everything listed above (SSSD) plus aditional 20 mils of rubberized asphalt, plus 3/8 in closed cell foam.

This is gonna be fun Ant. Its gonna go in The Corsica, and what I am gonna do is do a 2 side deadener contest. The drivers side will be done in another product (for a cheap *** price) and the other in your product. This way I can see which is a betta product for the $$.

This material is no the same as brown bread. BB is a bitumen adheasive 70 mils thick.

SSSD is a rubberized asphalt 45 mils thick, more like B-Quiet

The spectrum material I am coming out with is not like anything out there.

It would be hard to compare it to somthing

its like this:

one layer of dynamat exterem

another layer of dynamat extreme with out the foil

then a layer of closed cell foam

all in all there are 5 layers

1. adhesive

2. rubberized asphalt

3. foil

4. rubberized asphalt

5. foam

I am designin ghtis material to handle

1. vibrations.

2. heat

3. road noise

4 engine noise

yet still trying to keep it light weight and thin

its turning out to be wuite difficult

I hope to have the prototypes done by monday, real world testing by friday, and product to sell the following week.

thats like 12 hours a day work though

its not easy

Ill be willing to test some of it. I live in wisconsin and the temp ranges from -10 to about 100. I emailed you before about it. I have a 1994 Beretta. As you may know...the WHOLE back end of the beretta is plastic. I can TRUELY notice any difference that your product would do, inside as well as out. You can see my System specs below in my signature but I am going to buy that RE XXX right after xmas in a 12". That will be going in 2.7 cu ft tuned at 30 hz and with about 1200 rms on it. As of right now, I have 2 Polk/MOMO 12s in my car. I am a member of the review committee and I could pass around a good review within a few days of having your product and installed, and having tested it. I REALLY feel like if you sent me your product to test, I would be the best person for this task as I have had many many setups in my car. I hope you consider me this time. Thank you.

I still think I should recieve some to review. I am a member of the review committee and will be able to distinguish ANY level in performance that I gain or loose. My whole back end is plastic. In another day or 3 I will be posting a pseudo-contest. some sort of way for me to give out this material to about 3 people (besides corsica and mattj).
