How good are Digital Designs Woofers?

Assuming you have the neark 1G in electrical it takes to back up a 3k+ rms install - what is your budget - if all you want is loud go with the 18" version of whatever you get.

On 3K 2 L7 15" will get louder than a single sub out of your list in most installs.

well i want it to be hittin really hard and when i drive by for people to be like what the ****! but i also want to turn it down and just listen to it with a good thump everynow and then. but really the main thing is i want it to be loud but i dont want it to drown out the music. i mainly listen to rap, and i like for the bass to hit low and fill the car if u understand what im trying to say. but could the 13w7 keep up with the 15 juggernaut if im running say 2000w to the jugg and 1500 to the JL? and with 1500w to the jl is it still gonna be like holy **** thats loud or no?

and i get that the dd hits hard but does it hit so hard it drowns out the music? like i just dont want my music to be distorted i want (lil wayne or whoevers) voice to come in clean with hard hitting bass

If you looking for SQL then sure the w7 will sound better but in terms of what will be louder than the juggernaut will be louder,the DD subs to me are more musical than a juggernaut so if you have 1500-2000 watts go for a juggernaut but if you have 2000 plus than I would go DD 9515.You need to upgrade your mids and highs and push them with an amp so that the lows don't drown out the vocals so bad.

Well DD Audio is great stuff. I am running 4 9518's and 4 sets of there hi-end comps 2 sets in each front door. I love the sound but I am rebuilding the box this week.

haha no i am into SQ but i dont have enough $ right now to upgrade the stock speakers so im going to purchase the sub first and then when i have the money upgrade the speakers. but im saying does the SQ on the juggernaut really differ much from the W7? like is the juggernaut going to be alot more distorted? and im saying this with an upgraded speaker system of course. i think im either going for the 13w7 or the 15juggernaut. idk right now i only have room for one sub and an amp and thats with modding my backseat, later on i might mod my front and take out the center console for another 15. but i just want something that will sound good and not some distorted crap. and that can be heard comin up the street. so what would u recommend

I would not get a 13w7 over a DD. Give DD a call and talk to them before you buy the JL. I was a JL person and I would never go back even if they gave it to me.

I work on the road but I go home this week. I will drive up there so you can see and hear my SUV if you want. A demo could change your mind. I am not against JL at all but DD is a better product. For the same price or cheaper.

Been a couple months now...The SPL 15" is sitting on my desk out of commission. Cone separated from the spider so it may of fell victim to some clipping or just too much power.

the juggernaut will not be more distorted it just won't sound as musical as a w7.The juggenaut will get louder but the w7 would sound better.How much power are talking too? I would suggest you do a 9515 just one will be plenty if you push it right.JL audio is good but overpriced
