So I've been tweaking.

Bish sounds goood!

2 optidrive d2-12's-1000wrms/pc.

Nice lows, but I have the subs crossed over a 40hz with a shallow slope.

Must have a vehicle hump at 45-55hz cause it's real boomy there.

I need a new box and more power.

Blends real nice with my doors' midbass crossed over low.

Nice, clean bottom. Tuned at 30-31.

Got 1200 watts rms @ 2ohms on the pair of 12's.

It's ok, but not quite there yet.

I lose output below 28 or so.

------------------------------------------------------

Got a RE audio SE 15D4 coming next week-possibly.

What should I be going for box wise-ported and tuned to get that low end extension with power and clarity. I want it to quad. Might do interchangeable ports. One for spl and one for sq.

I'm a put 1k rms on it- see if it'll knock.

Should I tune real low like below 28?

I'll sacrifice output for deeper bass.

How much efficiency and spl will I sacrifice?

I don't think the SE can keep up with the opti's volume wise, but I'm hoping for better sq.

I'm a G. I listen to hip-hop and raggae.

I play mobb deep, mos def, wu, pete rock, sean price, J-love, nas, duck down- you know-real ****

I run raggae rockas- sizzla, midnight raggae, luciano.

F- chopped n screwed. F hard rock too.

But hell it's something to appreciate in all music.

I was looking for opinions on deep bass response.

I guess the se can be tuned at 31 and still get some good 20 action

I have yet to hear a Mobb Depp or Nas song below 30hz.... I was tuned to 38hz and picked up 28hz with authority.....
