maybe you dont know how to drive if your dumpin the clutch after one run. also what is done to that cobra?
Oh, I freely admit I don't know how to drive. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif My 60' times are evidence enough of that.

The car's got a Kenne Bell 2.2L, Accufab throttle body, LFP heat exchanger, C&L MAF, and a MAC prochamber + catback. I also yanked out the independent rear in favor of a solid axle, and I swapped out the stock transmission for a Viper T56.

Unfortunately the clutch I put in didn't hold up to the power. It's fine for street driving, but it slips badly at high rpm. Pretty soon here, I'm going to get a Centerforce DFX to replace it. I'm not really looking forward to wrestling that heavy ass T56 out again, but I needed to get it out for the LDC cooling mod anyway.

2002 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab, 5.9 auto V8 4x4, only place I've foudn so far says an estimated 0-60 of 9 seconds flat, so we'll go with that lol, for now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Umm...it's not? It shows 115 on the speedo and I've dumped it completely before - but after about 90mph it is sloooow going getting the needle to register the rest of those numbers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

That's what happens when you have a 150bhp engine pushing 2744kg's of steel around...

Finally broke into the 7's in the 1/8th mile....lol.... got 7.98 @ 86.16 with a 1.66 60 ft .....03 EVO
Nice. Do you just run on street tires and let the AWD do the work, or do you have different tires for the track? How do you heat them up (or do you at all?)

no offense, but maybe you should worry about learning to drive your car more than modding it. With all that money dropped into it, 12.5 is shatty considering there are stock cobra's that have almost touched that.

I run street tires. I probably have the shittiest tires of anybody that owns an evo..lol. I bought them at Walmart with the interest of getting many miles out of them. Basically there is no way to heat my tires up at the track. I usually just try to avoid the waterbox, or if I cant, ill do a quick tire chirp to try and clean them off before lining up. When I launch, i wait till the 1st yellow light drops, then floor it with the clutch in until I hit about 5k (by then I am boosting a little) and do a quick release of the clutch pedal. This netted my 1.66 60 ft times, which IMO is screaming for a 320 whp car.

Yeah, I plan to run them in my workshop. I haven't gone through them or anything but they startup and run just fine. I don't see any strange spike...

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.
