How do I make a system plug into a wall socket (120v)?

get amp of choice.

get any receiver with a sub out.

take green wire on powersupply and connect it to a black.

then get all the yellows except 1 and put it into positive

and one yellow in remote.

get all the blacks and put it in negative.

turn on the switch and receiver and you have bass.

or you could always get a high level input to low level input thing and just connect to unused set of speaker terminal on the receiver.

i have a 25a comp power supply powering a kicker zx1500.1 and im getting ~600w out of it with the gains turned up 1/4 and the bassboost at 1/2 with a bass knob.
dont say things that you havent done or tried.

Maybe with a battery hooked up...

but there is no way you are going to reach 600 watt levels from an amp powered with only 25A @ 12V....

So a 200 watt power supply can run a 2200 watt sub amp?
A battery/charger can be used indoors without releasing posionous gas while charging?

Someone who doesn't understand the difference between DC and AC should be told to wire a 12 volt device to a powersupply and wire up the 120 volt connector with no further instructions?

Are you guys going to be there to help put the fire out when he burns his roommates alive?
who said anything about 1 single 200 watter;)

Most comp power supplies out put less than 200 watts, far less power needed than most sub amps used by members here.

A power supply large enough to power even a modest system would cost more than simply buying a new 120v power amp.

This is a fantasy people often ask about who don't understand the huge loss of efficiency when converting from AC>DC.
