I just bought my dad one for his truck. I was looking at the wiring connections, and next to ground and battery, there is a connection labeled "P.Con". I need to know what it is for. Any assistance would be much appreciated.
I bought it used at a pawn shop. There are no instructions.Read the instructions. They should help.
Thank you.phasing's probably only for the subwoofer line out
-MOST- amps will have this control on them, anyways, so just leave it as normal 0 degree phasing
And ya, as someone states, p.con is your constant power.
You can run it directly to an unswitched fuse if your factory radio harness doesn't have one.
It's just to store your presets, etc.
The connector that is labled (P CON) is for your blue remote wire that comes off the back of your stereo to signal the built in amp in the speaker box to turn on when you turn on your stereo. otherwise it wont turn on when you want it to. dont hook up a constant power wire to it though are it will stay on always and drop your battery. it's best to run a 12 gauge wire off the remote blue wire from the back of your stereo to the (P CON) connector on the KSC-WA801. Then you should be all good as long as all the other wires are hooked up to.I just bought my dad one for his truck.
