hifonics maxximus vs incriminator audio 40.1

speaking of sigs since your talking about them, what the hell does bought scottiej (x2) mean????
it means he purchased items from Scottie Johnson, twice.

like he said, its a reference so that people have some trust in him when they buy/sell from/to

Wow just nevermind...Duke you were born in 84???I installed my first PPI amps A couple of power 1000's Rockford Pro (2)18's,(2)15's And (4) G&S designs redline 12's that year.
wow they had power 1000's in 84? could have sworn they came out in 89-90

Then you should know that there is no contest between 1 maxximus and 1 40.1
Moron.
like i said i am not new to car audio....forums say nothing about what you can do with a system.if you look back a few pages you will see that it has now been clarified a long few pages ago that we are talking about 2 40.1s vs 1 maxximus(which is 2 goliaths)we are saying 2 40.1s because maxximus is 2 amps also

if its about price get the 40.1 if not then get 2 sampsons! if you were buying gear back then these prices arent that bad lol i can recall a 150x2 ppi amp costing 690 on deal

Actually i may have been into soundstream and orion however...in 91 i was in college and power 1000's had been around for a while by then so i dont know i do know in 84 i was on some audio while most were still in diapers.Hell i was a pup to some guys myself back then.Just the point is try to respect another and maybe they might try to respect you.

The review was done by Performance Auto Sound Magazine. You mean the one that had the green Pontiac on the cover???The solstice show car??? That PAS magazine???

On page 122 of said magazine it says "although designed for SPL applications Signal linearity is still Very important. linearity was measured at 4 ohms stereo and output was depicted as remaing linear for 79% of its total wattage range, about 8,316 watts...Pretty Nice now...

At 14.6 Volts they got 5.289 and 5,288 at 1 ohm stereo@50 hertz (damping factor of 280 and 279 per side)

and at 2 ohms bridged 10,526 @50 hertz but this was at 14.4 volts (no available damping factor)

now the thing didnt Clip until 12,209 watts!!! Impressive...

Now that was at 14.4 and 14.6 respectively my question is this???What type of power supply sections are they running? Are they regulated or unregulated???

Im curious as to what is going on with them because i cant seem to find this info...and Hifonics has said the amplifier will supply optimum power into either a 2 ohm mono load or a 1 ohm stereo load. With other configurations yielding LESS...It is said that maximum performance will be achieved at 1 ohm stereo or 2 ohm mono loads.

now im looking at your post and i see all these other voltage ratings and power outputs...where can i see those at?Because officially we have 12 and some change on a clip @ 50 hertz according to performance autosound magazine.

Yep, at the amplifiers. I get the same 14.7 volt reading when they cutoff too.

Pull it and test it at the battery post. Simple Power up test to verify if it powers up fine out of protect mode. if it does then Id be checking...

Yes, they are painted. The cover is very easy to take off and repaint to whatever color of choice to match the install.

They all say they are in stock but they aren't. Just like my SSA Zcons and Evils were "in stock" but had a super long build time.
