Incriminator IX3.1 half or full bridge?

As title says, is the IX3.1sub amp half bridge?

What about their more powerful versions like IX6.1 etc?

The board layout does not look like a typical half bridge.

One good clue is that they can be strapped. That means half bridge, right?

Run it at 1ohm @3,000w rms
2ohms @1,500w rms or 4 ohms @ 750w rms. It’s a one channel amp. Just don’t run it at .5 ohms.

For some reason I read the post and commented on a fullbridge amp... haha

Looks like my kind of amp, I'd build up electrical then wire low myself.

Smiling all the way

They are half bridge. They use "split force technology"

"SplitForce divides the power supply section and the audio section into two halves and places them on top of each other in a vertical configuration, and uses link cables to attach the two sides together creating a working unit that can function like existing amplifiers, while both sides have their own PCB. The end result is an amplifier that is 50% smaller in length, while still maintaining the ability to strap or link amplifiers. The additional two inches in height allows space to add many extra features such as an onboard voltage display, remote indicator (REM-I) plug which allows you to monitor the status of your amplifier from another location such as the dash or podium of your vehicle, three extra cooling fans, segmented power and ground connections. This unit has all the features, function, and power you need on the streets or in the lanes."

Half Bridge if you are running 1 ohm or lower
And have good electrical upgrades
Full bridge if you are looking for efficiency/cheaper watt to dollar ratio.

Full bridge amps are prone to failure due to voltage fluctuations. That's why Brazilian amps gets a bad name. I never had an issue with the SFB 2k and SIA 2.5k I had, but I'm also overly cautious and my voltage is always straight.

If you have the money to spend and a good electrical system, I'd go for half bridge. They take up more room but can handle more abuse for sure. Runs much cooler as well.

Edit: I think I jumped the gun and you were asking if a particular amp is full bridge or not, NOT the pros and cons of full vs half bridge. I'll leave the comment here to hopefully learn someone something
