Hifonic Plan X 15's

I just got a rare pair of hifonics plan X 15s. the box was super heavy. and the magnets on them were huge. i believe it says 2200w on the magnet. im not sure. i tried googling them but they're so rare i cant find anything.

Can someone please tel me the specs on these puppies. only thing i know is they are dual 2 ohm.

For a $100, you can't be that. That's a REALLY good price for a pair of those. They are kind of like Hifonics' old version of the MA Kores, they don't take as much wattage as the MA's did but the motor on them will take 1500 to 2000 RMS without a hilt. They are one of Hifonics' last really good 15's, they haven't really done much on the Subwoofer front in a few years.

I wouldn't expect those to handle much more than 1000W continuous without thermal failure. Doesn't look terrible for hifonics though.

I had 6 plan x 15s hooked up to 12 600 watt xi thors. 1200 to each sub 156db in a camaro.

Your Camaro was and still is legendary in my book art. I have 2 plan x 15s currently that I would love to have rebuilt but have no idea who to have do something like this. One of them is in great shape the other was in poor shape when I found them abandoned in a run down old barn untouched for 25 years. I am really kicking around the idea of hooking them up to my sundown sfb 13800 with 2 sundown sa classics I currently have hooked up to it in a custom 4th order. My only issue is what kind of enclosure to build for the 15s. I love extravagant enclosure builds. Any ideas?

I should clarify. I do have one other issue. Supplying ample power to the amp. 3 1000cca deep cycle batteries and still having issues. It has went to 12v one time and drained all 3 batteries with the amp at approximately 1/3 throttle. Obviously there is so much more room to open up power wise but as previously stated 2 12 inch sa classics on it that are trying desperately to destroy the enclosure and very much could. It has already completely shattered the windshield. I have yet to replace.
