help with setup

i'm new with car audio and i dont have 2 much knowledge with it yet. i was just wondering if i got 2 10" jl w6's and 2 jl 500.1 amps would that be alright? would that be enough power pushing the subs i think it'll be fine i'm not sure though. and any suggestions on hu's? thanks

if u can do that, that would be great. i can't imagine the power you'd be pushing. that thing should bump hard as hell considering it is in the right enviornment and is installed properly. happy thumpin!

so if i would put this in would it blow my subs right away? do u think it would be better just 2 get 2 250.1 amps and put them with the 2 10"? i want it 2 hit hard though so i don't know i dont' wanna blow the subs right away either though

you will not have a problem as long as your setup is right. first of all, JL rates their subs differently so the power they take is actually ALOT more than what it states. dont crank ur gains all the way up and listen to distorted bass, or else ur speaker will blow. any amp can work with any sub as long as ur settings are correct.
