So here is a list of my components to start with:
Kenwood KDC-X794 Head Unit
2 Kicker 12" CVR's 4 Ohm DVC
2 JL Audio 6.5" Components (Front)
2 Kicker KX 6.5" Coaxials (Rear)
1000 Watt Kicker DX Mono amp (Subs)
350 Watt Kicker ZX 2 CH amp (Mids & Highs)
Audiocontrol EPIC 160 Bass Restoration Processor
Currently, I have two sets of 17' RCAs hooked up. One to my mono amp and one to my 2 ch amp. I haven't installed the bass processor yet. Would the "ideal" wiring configuration be: RCA from HU to bass processor-to mono amp-to mids amp? Or should I use a separate RCA run all the way from the HU to mids amp while another runs from HU to bass processor to mono amp? Does the signal weaken if run through multiple RCAs or does it matter? My HU has 3 pre outs front, rear & sub. Is it best to run separate RCAs to each level???
