for some starter woofers.. Im just getting into car audio and shit..

If you just want to do a budget setup they should be just fine (never heard them though). How much are you wanting to spend on subs?

well I just baught them...I didnt wanna go over 170 on the subs...so he said these would be perfect....If you could tell me what kind of amp and the amp wattage I need to...it would be very helpfull...

Cause when they arive...be **** sure ill be posting in the wiring section hahaha...less they come with a manual?

I take it they are dual 4 ohm? if so then you need an amp that will do 400-500 x 2 at 2 ohms each channel, or an amp that is 800-1000 at either 1 or 4 ohm mono. rockfordfosgate.com has a wiring subs up that includes pics and is as simple as it gets. BTW what kind of box this going in?

lolol @ box... a standard best buy box....the ones that are made of wood with carpet on them and are slightly angled..than it's goin in the trunk of my cavilier...lmao@ me not knowing anything about anything

I'm currently doing an install in a friends lincoln with the next model up of these (ts-w306c)

SVC 4 ohm subs, they will be drinking 250 rms per sub in a 2 cu ft^3 box @ 28 hz, im

waiting for the subs to come in (should be here later today) if you want i can give you a

review before you spend your money. BTW, i purchased 2 of these 12's on ebay for $122.50 shipped...

ohm = resistance . For ease of install try to find an amp that is one ohm stable. and as for wire go to walmart and get one of their kits.

**** that's too bad, just like Decipha is saying. You could have had the newer ones, but on ebay you could of had two of them shipped fo a little under 150

by the way, make your own ported box. Theyll sound so much better.

I think he should stick with a sealed box if hes going ot make one...he said this is his first system and he doesnt kno anything at all about it...he should learn with this and upgrade later...
