Ok...Heres the deal,
I have a Alpine CDE-W235BT headunit connected to a Clarion EQS746 equalizer running 3 amplifiers...Precision Power i520.4 is bridged powering my Alpine SPR-60C component set, Precision Power i320.4 is bridged powering my Alpine SPR-60 in the rear dash, and Precision Power PPI P1000.1 powering my two Alpine SWR-12D4 with the Voice coils wired in parallel, speakers wired in parallel 1ohm load in a ported box. This is in a 06' Monte Carlo which has a Xs Power d3400 battery, stock 120amp alternator, Big three upgrade, and a Precision Power C.3F 3 Farad Digital Power Capacitor. Now here is the issue i need help with. I set the gains by ear after i installed it and it sounded GREAT then i tried to set the system with a multimeter using 60hrz for subs and 1000hrz for my component set and coaxial speakers and it sounded like crap. I have tried many different options in the settings and have had no luck into getting it right...Any advice into how to properly set gains, and filters would be Awesome. Where should the Headunit and Eq volume be set at while setting gains and should i turn headunit subwoofer control up to 15 while setting gains, filters, bass boost, and subsonic? Someone please Help.....
