I have a kicker 10" cvr and it's having trouble playing higher frequenzys it's hooked up to a kenwood 1000 watt amp but since it is a 10" it is running at 4 ohms so it's only receiving around half powered would this be the cause or is it something else?

The lpf is set all the way to 200 hertz and the amp is rated at 2ohms it plays good until like 90 hertz then it gets really quiet
wow I figured you might have been at 30-35hz but your at 200hz, check your HU settings maybe theres an internal filter and it's set too low?

Your sub isn't really supposed to play 90 hz.

I mean that like, your sub shouldn't play really above 80, personally I believe about 60 hz.

Would a smaller box work

The head units lpf for the sub is set to through

I just realized your saying your playing fine up to 90hz most are set around 60hz and roll off your mids take over from 70hz-80hz sometimes higher if your running a ton of power, your trying to force the sub to play notes it's not designed to replicate.
