Help me build a high end system!

Here's an example of a subwoofer enclosure for your Tundra that fits under the rear seats: 2014-15 Toyota Tundra Crewmax Sub Box Under Seat Box I had NET Audio design and build a fiberglassed enclosure for a client of mine with a Dodge truck that has a similar issue of a lack of space for bass. It turned out amazing. They also can make an enclosure to go behind the rear seats if you have a Crewmax, but if you settle on big amplifiers you'll want that space for the amp rack.

We offer several speaker upgrade kits for the Tundra. 3-way components up front and 2-way components in the back can work great. It would be an upgrade above and beyond our Stage 3 kit. Keep in mind we developed these kits with DIYers in mind, and a nearly factory original appearance can be maintained. If you will have A-pillar pods built the front speaker system should be upgraded to different mids and crossovers.

You have a lot to consider and I can refer you to a local specialist. Feel free to pm me.

i need a sub box built for 2 10" inch subs ported . can u give me ball park quote i will pay the shiping to canada If it a good deal . For a basic one it is 500 in calgary.

Are you opposed to running a sub/subs under the rear seats?Have the room? Will open up more options for you..Maybe a down fire ported enclosure for 10s/12s?

I am not opposed to the subs under the seats. Looks like I get an extra 1" of depth there. Also, 3 10's would be pretty nice!

I was looking at the Si subs, but I unfortunately do not have time to wait for the new ones to come out.

If you're into tweaking, grab yourself a pioneer stage 4 dex-p99rs. It's about the best head unit you can find these days and replaces it's cost worth of external EQ/time delay/processing. Pioneer PRS 80 is a big step down but also has a fair bit of built in processing power and is a very popular unit (oh and about a third of the price of the 99.

I wouldn't get so hung up on brands on component speakers. Putting money/time/effort into prepping and deadening and good locations will be better spent after you hit about the 350-400$ mark for a set of components.

I'd highly recommend the Zed Leviathan for an amp. 6 channels should give you channels to active cross over some components up front + run a sub or two. They are very efficient and run really cool so you can stuff it just about anywhere and never worry about overheating.

Those Eclipse subs you liked back in the day were built by TC Sounds. They're still well regarded, though few survive today since the surrounds had a habit of rotting out. TC still makes subs and you can find them at Parts Express.

I also own a 2015 tundra crewmax and have been doing alot of homework on a full system.I'm on the fence with jl audio and sundown. Jl audio has a 10tw3 that's really popular for fitting behind our small gap seat and performs really well. They also have some nice hd amps and componets. On another hand, sundown has the SD-3 D2 10's that are right at the limit of fitting. I'm reading they also sound really good. I own both sundown and jl audio and you cant go wrong with either one. I think you can get more for your money going sundown.

As far as head units,i'm looking at the alpine x009-tnd. Yes it's really expensive, but it's really ******.

Components is another battle. Since we have so many speakers in our truck.I'm still undecided on how i'm going to them. We have 2" speakers and a 4" center channel speaker in the dash that i'm still trying to figure out how to correctly get power too without having a single amp for a single speaker.

Here are links to the speakers i was talking about. You can also look at the rest of their gear.

SD-3 Series

I hope this somewhat helps you out.
