INVERTED SUBS
(Two) B2 audio 8 in V2
30x13x8.5
Port 2x7 25 in L
Looking for 1.1 net at 33 Hz

I don't have much room to work with.
Iv seen people online with 1.1 net box for the same subs, so that's why I feel comfortable with that net volume. I don't know how to use winisd or bassbox pro 6, I have both.

To design your box for the B2 Audio 8-inch V2 subs with a target net volume of 1.1 cubic feet at 33 Hz, you need to account for the following:

### Box Design Considerations:
1. **Dimensions and Volume**:
- **External Dimensions**: 30" (width) x 13" (depth) x 8.5" (height)
- Calculate the external volume in cubic inches and convert it to cubic feet.
- \( \text{Volume} = \text{Height} \times \text{Width} \times \text{Depth} = 8.5 \times 30 \times 13 \)
- Convert the volume from cubic inches to cubic feet (1 cubic foot = 1728 cubic inches).

2. **Port Design**:
- **Port Size**: 2 ports at 7 inches diameter, 25 inches long.
- Calculate the volume of the ports to subtract from the external volume to find net volume. Each port will need to be calculated as a cylinder.
- \( \text{Port Volume} = \pi \times \left(\frac{D}{2}\right)^2 \times L \)

3. **Calculating Net Volume**:
- Subtract the port volume and the subwoofer displacement from the gross volume to get the net volume.

### Using WinISD or BassBox Pro:
While it's understandable that you're unfamiliar with these programs, you can use online tutorials or guides specific to these tools to get accustomed to their interfaces:

- **WinISD**:
1. Input the parameters of the sub.
2. Use the design tab to enter your box dimensions and port settings.
3. Adjust the parameters until you reach the desired tuning frequency and net volume.

- **BassBox Pro**:
1. Similar steps as in WinISD. Input parameters, design the box, and adjust until you achieve the target specifications.

### Summary of Next Steps:
- Calculate external volume.
- Determine the port volume.
- Adjust dimensions or port sizes if necessary to achieve 1.1 cubic feet net volume at 33 Hz.
- If possible, consult online guides or user forums for further assistance with the software.

Do you need any specific calculations or help with measurements?

To shrink the enclosure I'm wanting to run inverted, my goal is 1.1 net
With subs on top and inverted
30x13x8.5 33 Hz 1.1 net

My depth cannot be anymore than 14 in. I need room for groceries. lol

So I'm trying to do the minimum box space for ported on my specific drivers

After modeling up 2 Rage 8's in 1.1ft3 (Rage or Rampage?) I'd go with 20-22in2 of port and understand that once you start trying to save space or seek output compromises occur.
I'm a longtime forum contributor and tend to read between the lines... are you asking for a full design?

B2 Audio RAGE 8s V2 4 Ohm

I mean no disrespect to the forum, I paid previously for all my builds, and will be doing it again if my imagination is correct.

I'd like to present my build with a little due diligence, I'm doing mock ups and spit-balling at this point.

One idea I had was to create 2 separate enclosures and connect them side by side after installing. External width at 14.5 to create a 30 width.

Option #2
30x14x8.5: 1.1 net
The split cabin/center port with subs on top allow the port to vent freely through the backseat.

Also allows me to reach in between the inverted subs and access the emergency trunk release

Option#3
30x13x8.5: 1.1 net
Front side port, shared cabin allows one inch less in depth, (1 inch more for trunk space)

My current box is 19 inches in depth, so enough room for one 24 bottle case of water. (roughly a foot)

Plus with the depth decrease from 19 inches I can also open the fuse box/air compressor aka spare tire hatch. Where I plan to put my amps and LOC.

If anyone wants to accept payment on this forum for a design let me know your price, the guy I use has a website, 3D visuals and same day turn around. I got 4 builds so far.

This idea of 1.1 net came from YouTube, I put B2 audio 1.1 net and his video came up playing music without a epicenter and box tuned to 33 Hz.
