Harmon/Kardon Car Audio Amps

I'm looking to get a few H/K car audio amps for my next setup, but apparently they are only available overseas...? I was wondering if anyone of you guys had a hook up.

Looking to get,

2- CA280s

2 or 4- CA1500ms

Not looking to purchase until spring, but it would be nice to know if i can get a US dealer/or anyone who can hook me up.

Harmon/Kardon.... kindergarden kinda sound the same. You should get some real amps like sony or something else good.

whats with the no us dealers? I know there are some Harmon/Kardon home stereo stores near me, i dont know if they could get them in or not, but maybe try calling some of them.

whats the reason for wanting to buy here and not from , say the UK? cause I have family over there that could forward it on if its a warranty issue or something.

Im not sure why they dont sell them in the US... maybe someone on here knows *cough cough*. I asked a HK dealer by me and he just looked at me, clearly having no idea they sell car audio stuff.

Thats a sick hu, im not sure where im going to get as far as processing yet either. Im pretty much starting over from scratch thanks to my car being stolen... eh.

The old school HK car audio stuff was great, until they were bought out, the story of many.

Im not sure why they dont sell them in the US...

Harmon International is probably afraid it would interfere with their existing car audio lines, JBL and Infinity.

I would like to see them make some Revel car speakers myself.
