Good 12in sub for a sealed setup?

Recently picked up a Lexus HS250h, the 10 speaker sound system is lacking in all areas. It just sounds muted. Highs aren't that high, mids are muddy and the lows only appear during one magical midbass fs.

My plan for now is just to add a subwoofer and amp.

Later if I feel like torturing myself I'll attempt a switch out of the internal components.

I don't want to take that much trunk space away. So I'm leaning towards a single 12, sealed in 1-1.3cubes.

I want to spend around $200 for the sub, just a daily beater. Nothing like the Adire Brahama 15in I had when 20 years ago. (**** I'm old)

So my basic question is what's a good 12in subwoofer, that does well sealed, and takes around 500-750rms?

Also this is going in a hybrid. Is there anything I need to know about installing a amp into a hybrid?

dc audio 12's take small box but many 12's would work in 1.3cf sealed even mine, look at sundown e and sa if u want mainly sq peeps like the id subs still.. but that dayton does seem like deal..

Dayton from my experience is on the cheaper end of things. I think I'd prefer a subwoofer specific company.

THE SA12 from Sundown is definetly in the top choices.

Wouldn't the Gcon be closer to what I want? The Gcon and the SA12 are my main choices right now.
incriminator lethal injection is the only sub i'd run sealed from the competition brands. The EBP of this subwoofer actually allows it to perform well in sealed boxes.

The two subs you chose are meant to be in a ported and will not function well in sealed. completely cross them off your list unless you want garbage results.

There are subs that are designed and engineered to be in a ported box, if you look at the ts parameters its obvious along with countless people switching to ported with those subs due to poor results with sealed.

The dayton HO will absolutely smack the gcon and sa 12 in a sealed box Definitely not on the lower end at all, idk where you got that misinformation from. Along with a lethal injection especially if you have about 1500 watts on tap then they will be absolutely bonkers and sound great as well.

Dayton has been know to have some QC issues. But nothing to completely avoid them about.

You can quadruple your budget and get the one I want. Then get scared of it and send it to me. DD 3012esp. Composite cone and powder coated basket please.
