fuse holder smelling REAL bad

Ya My fuse holder is smelling real bad. It also gets VERY hot. Could this be because I have a smaller fuse then reccomended? Only fuse i had to run to my amp was a 150 amp.

Bad connection, too small power wire, bad ground, could possibly be the fuse but would most likely blow due to over current.

if it was pulling too much, it would blow (or partially blow...lol)

it maybe pulling right at 150a.. idk. check the connections. is any metal touching the car (aka short circuit)?

YA i double checked everything. Thats what i dont understand its smelling and getting real hot then why isnt it blowing? its only 150 amps off 1/0 gauge wiring. I just think the zx2500 is trying to pull to much current that it cant all get through the 150 amp fuse

i had my 1501d on a 150a for a long *** time. never did that.

I just took this pic looks like the fuse was corroding or something. I just put a diffrent 150 amp fuse so i will see what that does.

ya it smells so bad though. You think its getting fed to much power? The fuse is between my 2nd battery and my zx2500
