220amp or 300amp?

I will be running one DD Z1A on two XXX 12" and one RF Power 1000 to my doors and one RE SE 10" for my 5.1 sub. I will have one yellowtop under the hood and I have another to put in the trunk. My stock alt is 140 amp but I am going to upgrade that as well. I have 1/0 throughout..

OK, here is my question. I can get a 220 amp alt from dbelectrical for $220 shipped or a 300 amp from EA for $420 shipped. Is it worth the extra money to get the bigger alt or should I get the 220 amp and use the $200 I save to get another battery? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I would personally go with the bigger alt...that way you can still expand later on and not have to buy a bigger one later.

bigger alt, and save for the batt. that z1a although it is efficient, will **** the s hit out of your electrical system. If you have come so far as to have a z1a and 2 xxx's you really need to go the extra mile and get atleast one good big batt for the system

To support that power your gonna need the 300A and a couple batteries(if yellow tops) or a good big one.

Thanks for your input guys! I will get the 300 amp alt but should I get another yellow top or something like a Kinetik 2400? Can I run the YT under the hood, the one in the trunk and a 2400 together or should I sell the YT in the trunk and get just the 2400 or what? Thanks again!

Im not familiar with those ddz1a's and how power hungry they are but i would say a good batt up front and maybe 2 2400s in the back.
