Fixing Brake line help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)

one more question. my mechanic told me that my pass. rear caliper needs replacing. is this hard to do?
Do you have any mechanical experience? Do you know how to work on your car? I could change it with my eyes closed but I dont know if you can or not. You know what I mean?

its only 1 hour max labor including bleeding brakes they are robbing yyou blind lolz

Just do it . Really its not that hard. And there is a sweet kit you can buy to power flush your brake system as well. I will have to look up the web site again for you though. But really its not that hard as you are making it out to be. Its a civic too. Just get into it.

Found site. http://www.motiveproducts.com/

I have the big kit. Really does the job well. I love it. I never have to wait for others to be finished with the power bleeder. And plus I can do more vehicles with this kit then they can.

big thing to remember when you are bleeding your brakes are

1. the master cylinder has to have fluid in the reservoir at all times.

2. the person pumping the brakes should NOT let off the pedal while the bleeder is open. if this happens you run the risk of ******* fluid back in.

3. dont leave the bleeder open for too long. if it is open when the pedal is at the floor you run the risk of ******* air in.

also that crap about bleeding until the color of the fluid changes is wrong. you bleed the brakes until you have no more air coming out of the lines. it will be ready to hit the road when you open the bleeder and only have a constant stream of fluid comeing out. that means no spitting or sputtering and no bubbles.

enjoy

also why does your caliper need to be changed? is it sticking? your car is pretty new to be needing a caliper...
