easest and i think the best ground would be to run a wire from the neg on the batt up front. and then u would have a solid and strong GND.
It's not neccessarily the easisest, but you are pretty much assured that if your power wire is more than adequate and the ground is the same size as the power, that you will have a low loss ground and a low suceptibility to ground loop problems.
